About Sunland ADHC

We opened our doors on May 18, 2026 with a simple idea: the older adults of Sun Valley and the foothill neighborhoods deserve a day program as good as the ones across the Valley, close to home and in their own language.

Our mission

To support the health, independence and social connection of every participant, and to give their families the confidence to keep them at home.

Why Sun Valley

The northeast San Fernando Valley has more than two dozen adult day health centers, but the neighborhoods along Sunland Blvd and Foothill Blvd have long been at the edge of everyone's service area. Long van rides and unfamiliar languages kept many families away.

Sunland ADHC was built to change that: a freshly renovated center on Sunland Blvd, small groups, staff who speak the languages of the community [TBD], and a short program day with pickup and drop-off that fits family routines.

[TBD: founder story, background of the program director and the team, community ties.]
