A day at Sunland
The schedule below is a typical Tuesday. Participants choose what they join; nobody is required to do everything.
Sample daily schedule
- 8:30– 9:30
Arrival and breakfast
The vans bring participants in; coffee, tea and breakfast are on the table.
- 9:30– 10:30
Orientation, group exercise and news
A short welcome, the date and the news of the day, then low-impact exercise, seated and standing.
- 10:30– 1:00
Cognitive games, choir, arts or discussion groups
Memory and word games, then participants pick between music, arts and crafts, or a discussion circle in their language.
- 1:00– 2:30
Bingo, lunch and departure
Bingo and a hot lunch at the table, then drivers take everyone home by 2:30.
